Meringue Shambles
I pot of Double fresh Cream, or whipping cream or low fat cream or a low fat alternative.
Half a punnet of Strawberries chopped in half
3-4 meringues broken into bite size pieces.
Whip up the cream you are using
when about to serve,  gently stir in the meringue and strawberries  and finally eat and enjoy.

Pat, my cousin is a great cake maker and recently when visiting her she made us Martin’s Carrot Cake. 
 Here is the carrot cake recipe
3 large carrots grated
1 mug of oil
1 mug of sugar
1/2 mug soft brown sugar
2 mugs S-R flour
3 eggs
1 desert sp baking powder
pinck of salt
teaspoon of cinnomon

We were at a friends home for dinner last evening and the buffet table was full of home cooking, yummy stuff. One of the sweet dishes was absolutely delicious and so easy.
